It's odd, but we had Tuesday night mtg tonight. I think it's because of halloween tomorrow, but anyway, there were nine ppl there, which meant that the mtg only lasted half an hour. It never ceases to amaze me, that even with that small amount of people, we manage to talk after meeting for at least another fifteen minutes. It never fails. It was odd this time, though. it was just random conversation. first, kieth mentioned that he had barely been able to see my head when i came through the door. sure, i was wearing heels, but they barely qualify as elevators, which is what they were referred to as. They were one of my smaller sets of heels. only about an inch and a half or two. not bad at all. and definately not elevators. maybe mini stilts if you wanna exaggerate, but still...
then we somehow got onto the topid of us moving, and the dates that we were going to move. (this was after we spent 5 minutes talking about how tall various members of our family were in comparison to me and steph and mom)then bobby offered to lend us his trailer, and help out with the moving process, so that we wouldn't have to hire movers, but when we told him the date, he replied that he was having surgery on his arm the moday before that, but we were still welcome to his trailor if we wanted it, and if he could help, he would. (at least it was something along those lines. i don't remember exactly)then keith said "ya, he can still do a lot of pointing with that other arm of his." so everyone laughed, and bobert said, "it would still be cheaper than hiring people to do it. you give kieth some money, and me some money, then rent a truck, and it's about $40 less than hiring some movers" and mom said, "well, you would only get paid half, cause you only have one arm to work with." more laughing. we talked more...and more...and more...and somewhere in there, Kieth called Bob Pauncho, and Bob called Kieth Kimosabe. It was much funny to see two men, both over 50, calling names. and they were good names, too. don't be surprised if you hear me using them sometime in the near future. along with wouldjacouldjaawcomeonyousaidyouwouldjadon'tchuwannahuh? that is one of the coolest things i've ever heard. anyway, ttfn

Tuesday Night Mtg

An interesting evening
It was an interesting evening, that night in late October. (you'll notice that my last blog, or at least one of the recent ones was in fairy tale form. this is my attempt at a corny mystery)A single mom and her two children left the park and drive at meadow vista, and turned their car down the freeway in the eastern direction. They arrived at Applebee's not long after, but in that amount of time, they had a discussion as to whether or not to eat first, and then go grocery shopping, or vice versa. Of course, they chose the obvious choice, and went to feed their ravenous mouths. They arrived at the resteraunt at precicely 7:17 and 21 seconds. They were seated at a super-spiffy tall table with prime TV viewing access. The tall ravishing red-head sat directly across from the main TV, with her slightly shorter and blonder sister sitting to her immediate left, and her mother across from her. For the first 10 minutes of their stay, there was random conversation around the table, mostly consisting of the older sister telling the other inhabitants of the table what to get, so that she could eat some of their food and have some of everything that she wanted. It was all for naught, however, because the little sister would not share much of her orange chicken bowl without hawking some mashed potatoes from the other, and the mother ordered something involving shrimp. That particular dish was immediately excluded as edible be the eldest daughter.
Although each only ordered water, you may have thought that they had each had more than their fair share of alcohol for the night. As the mother tried to teach her daughter how to say wouldja-couldja-aw-come-on-you-said-you-wouldja-don'tju-wanna-huh? It took the not very bright recipient of instructions a very long time to learn how. eventually the mother resorted to speaking slower than a cross between a turtle and a snail would move. A while after that, the daughter managed to catch hold of it. (I'm told that the first few minutes of the ride back home were full of the girl repeating that phrase until it became very annoying to the other two family members, but you didn't hear it from me)Soon, enough, it was almost time to leave, but first the mother had to tell her daughters a story about what had happened early on in the week. her parents and older brother had stopped by to spend the night thursday nite. With them, they brought a pie from the local resteraunt. It seems that this pie was a very good one, especially to the brother, who scarfed a piece down after a very big meal that evening. The next morning, as the mother was getting ready to leave, they all came out to say their last goodbye's, and to have breakfast. The brother, had gotten out a bowl of cereal (bran, of the rasin variety)and had poured the milk into it, when he decided that he wanted a piece of pie on top of it. Literally. The next thing the mother saw was the big piece of pie, mashed down into the cereal, creating some sort of pukey purple mess that not many ppl would be forced to eat. But he, did, and when asked how it tasted, he replied "Well, it's not as good as you might think..."As the mother told this story, tears were coming to her eyes, and i could not tell if it was from pity, or from the difficulty of talking while she was laughing as hard as she was. Either way, both of the children were laughing as hard as i had ever seen anyone before.
They left moments later, Which made that the end of my report. Just one more thing, The turkey bacon cibatta sandwich is one of the best there.

Second post of the day...
Ugh.Eating supper tonight was one of the worst experiences ever. Cayman decided that he wanted his carrots chopped up, so he chopped them. For 5 minutes. Lots of loud banging can soon drive someone crazy, as it did me. By the time he was done, he had not only chopped the carrots to mush, but the potatoes, meat, and the broth which he had filled so full of soggy crackers that it was almost solid on it's own. Talk about disgusting. Then he went about proving exactly how solid it really was, scraping it into piles in his bowl, making "slides" and mountains, and all that. The details are too gruesome to repeat, so I will leave you knowing that it's for the best. What I witnessed tonight was something that no one should have had to see. One last word...EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
That's all I have to say 'bout thaaat.

Billy the Brat
Once upon a time, Billy the Brat was born to parents that didn't love him enough. So, he decided that when he grew up, he wouldn't have any kids, he would just drive a bus so that he could torment other kids by being the crabbiest bus driver that lived. So he did just that. Fifteen years into his career, he got assigned the number 27 bus at the local high school. On that bus rode many boys and girls, some of which being Kara, Katherine, Laura, Sarah, and many other girls, along with a lot of smack-talking boys who will remain nameless. So, Smack boys were talking in back of the bus, yet again, as always. Then their topic switched to the two girls sitting in front of us. Very audibly, too. So, the girls in question got really really ticked, and started throwing it right back, literally, Because later, the guys started throwing stuff at them (the girls had started ignoring them and the guys were tired of being ignored)and the girls just chucked it right back. That wasn't so great, because it hit one of the guy's gilrfriends, and she got ticked too. So, when the girlfriend got off, she slammed her backpack into the head of the girl who threw the pen. So the thrower of the pen kicked the shover of the backpack square in the buttocks. Talk about glares. So, about half the people involved in all of the above got written up. That made us twenty minutes late to our stop. Then when we finally did get there, and Billy decided that the rebel children needed some seats assgined to them. None of the rebel children agreed, but we didn't have any choice in the matter, so seats were assigned. That took another really long time, but i'm not sure how long it was. I just know that i was mucho ready to get off of that bus. So we did, a long while later. Then, I went home. But Billy the Brat was never vanquished. That shall have to happen another day.
The End

Grr. Stupid stupid stupid
Since I had to skip school yesterday, I missed a lab. So, I got up way early this morning, just so that I could get to school early and make up the lab. I realized about five minutes before we got to school that i still had to do the first part of the lab, before i could do the normal lab. so i worked on it for the rest of the car ride, and about ten minutes when i got to school. Then I went to my science classroom, and asked him if I could make it up. "No." grrrrrrrr. I was rather ticked. A lot, actually.
Choir was boring, and by boring, I mean the same as it always is. So was English. In math, I found out that our teacher had switched our seats when I was gone, and he had forgotten to assign me a seat. The only ones left were the ones on the very far side of the room. In the back. Where he never looks. Yay. So now I can work on anything I want and he won't know. Fantastique!
French:Boring
Lunch:I got a stale bagel. Grodey
P.E.:We had to do the survival swim today. I was the first one in my group to do it. yay for me.
Bio:Nothing much happened. Oy. A pretty boring day over all.

you think i would learn...
...that it works a lot better to actually write a blog more than once a week, so that i don't have to write all of these super long ones. But we both know that's never gonna happen. I've been pretty busy lately, if you wanna call it that. So after I got home from Oregon Thursday (which, may i add was the dumbest ride ever. It was boring beyond all belief.)I went home...and played the computer, and slept. Thus, the rest of my week played out. We went to Special Mtg sunday, and as predicted, there were no kids my age besides some of the kids in Brandon's posse. So I got to hang around awkwardly. But I ended up hanging out with a girl that i met at convention a couple years ago. It wasn't the smartest thing to do, though, because we spent the second meeting talking instead of taking notes. Oopsy-daisies.
Monday...School, with a minor downside. We had a sub for choir, and linda wasn't there, so we had social hour. it wasn't all that fun, 'cause i had been looking forward to doing something fun, and i hadn't been able to. I haven't heard any more about whether or not i'm playing the piano duet with linda on white christmas, so i'm kinda guessing it's not gonna happen. Well, that's one less piece that i have to work on.
Tuesday, school again. This time we did have choir, and we sang songs, like choirs do. We also heard a piece that Chanticlare (i have no idea how to spell that) did. it was really cool. The soprano parts were crazy high, especially when we found out that the whole group that was singing was guys. oy. talk about creepy. later, Baggot said, "Don't worry, none of them had been castrated." We all cracked up.
Wednesday (that's today) i ended up ditching school to go to my great-uncle's funeral. it was boring. i don't get the point of funerals. But seeing as I had to go whether or not it made sense, i made the best of it, and smiled and nodded whenever i was introduced to another relative that i wasn't aware i was related to. So, i guess that's all now.

...And my happy mood gets rubbed off on...
...Anyone that reads this. But only if moods can be rubbed off on them easily. It's a pretty small thing that's got me happy, which is odd, cause just this morning, i wasn't in a great mood cause Shawna decided that she didn't wanna drive a bunch to see me. I've been telling her that she should, but anyway...
My good mood actually started last night because of Special Mtg tomorrow. Of course, it was dented a little when that little birdy Shawna ran into my windshield of happiness.(i'm not sure if that made sense to you, but it did to me, so live with it. maybe you'll figure it out tonight, really late, after you've spent hours awake with it on your mind. If you figured it out immediately, well, congrats, you just ruined my day all over again)It's just that there are not many kids my age around here. Grr. There go another couple hundred bugs hitting my windshield...and a rock. Great. Bird guts, remnants a la buggies, and a crack to top it all off. GAH! I'm putting myself in a bad mood again. It's all shawna's fault.
Then, today, we were going to go out to breakfast and look at rentals since we have to move over Thanksgiving break. We ended up going to supper and looking at a couple houses on the way there, and a couple on the way back. The first house we looked at was pretty nice. I was all for it. But we went and looked at (or should i say looked FOR) a couple other houses, and then went to supper at a new resteraunt in town. It was in the same building that Lyon's used to be in, but it's a sports bar and all that junk. So we walk in, and the first two things i noticed were that the busboys were at least 2 years younger than me, and the ground was completely covered in peanut shells. EEEEWWW!!! I was grossed out. Mom and Steph had no problem with it, but seriously, u never know who has had those in their mouths, and they get stuck to the bottom of your shoes and...just...EEEWWW!!! The actual food wasn't that great either. So we got out of there, and decided to go look at (again, more like looked FOR) a couple more houses. The last one was one just down the road from Union Hill, which in my noble opinion is one of the preppiest schools around (that may just be because their volleyball team beat ours on my birthday last year. I was majorly ticked). We waited for the owner to show up, and then took a tour. It turns out that we may actually get that house, which is great for many reasons, some of which being:
1)I wouldn't have to leave until about 6:45 to catch the bus, instead of 6
2)Steph could get herself to school if she had to (she's probably going to Union Hill, so my view of it will probably have to change =P)
3)I would probably get my own room
4)We would get to keep Buddy
So that's why I'm happy, ladies and germs. Well, tata for now

heyheyhey!
i'm getting the idea that i should've posted a while ago, but oh well. i was up in oregon, visiting my dear notrab cousins. it was a great trip. we got to gramma's house sat night round about 11:30. we stayed up talking until 12ish, then "went to bed"...kinda. you see, we still had to figure out a plan of action to get up to oregon. so we stayed up with allyson for half an hour to figure it all out. by the time we went to bed, we had decided to try to leave by 5ish, so that we could make gosple mtg up in stayton. so we went to bed.
it took me almost a full hour to get to sleep. then, just as i had dozed off at 1:30, a chair started squeaking...i sat up and saw a sleepwalking chantal, but i didn't know that she was sleepwalking, so i told her another idea i had had while i was trying to get to sleep. this idea, though, allowed us to go to bend andget to gosple mtg there, so that we could see shawna. but we decided to just go back to sleep. when 5 rolled around, i was the only one that was still going by the origional plan. we apparently had to call chantal's mom, and inform her of our change of plans, but we couldn't do that until 7 unless we wanted to get skinned. so mtg plans pretty much went out the window. we ended up leaving at 9:30 (that was after breakfast at carls jr.)
the first few hours were pretty boring. i got an energy drink at one of the stops so that i could stay awake on my whole 2 hours of sleep. after about 4 or 5 hours of me being crammed in the back, i decided that it was brandon's turn for the back...so we switched. during the last hour of our trip, we listened to hey juliette 20 or 30 times. it was great. and i got 8 trucks to honk at us in 10 minutes. that was pretty great too. the rest of the week was actually pretty boring. except for brandon's and my expedition to find a safeway.
we had decided that there wasn't anything in the house that was real easy to make, and our cousins were all off at school, so we set off in search of this mystical super-store in the clouds. actually it was just down the street, but you wouldn't have known it. actually, maybe you would have, but we didn't...at all. we got out to the end of the road, and finally decided to turn right. therein lies our mistake. had we thought to go left the second time we tried it, we may not have ended up on the opposite side of town! so the first time, we just got distracted at a doughnut shop, and headed back, but the second time, we wandered halfway out of the state beforewe saw a little deli. so we got some food there, and gave up our quest all together.
i guess that's really all the funish stuff we did. the rest was pretty boring. especially my drive back down. erg. anyway, ttfn

it's 5 thirty bloody six in the morning...
oy! this is driving me crazy. i should probably start from the beginning, cause to just say that i'm running on 4 hours of sleep, and that we were supposed to leave about 40 minutes ago, but we have to wait for the parental control tower's ok, when that parental control tower isn't actually manned until about 7, would just confunse you, right? thought so.
so remember the last time i went to gramma's? probably not, cause i don't think that i posted about it. but while we were there, i heard about chantal and brandon's expedition back up to oregon with a tiny little car let here by our crippled cousin a while ago. of course, i wanted to be a part of the action, so i asked if i could go. everything seemed to work out perfectly in my favor. but mom still wasn't too ken on me going. somehow, i managed to become part of the crew. it was pretty spiffyish.
so last night, we had a big deali-bop at dad's house, during which every kid in the house got bored (and there were 12) until we managed toget dad to let us watcha movie. so we watched forrest gump until 9:30, and then left. we had to stop by brandon's house for him to get some clothes and it was there that i found out that brandon is a "compulsive nervous packer". and he's a girl. i had to borrow one of carol's suitcases, the ones that have a hard time making it onto a plane, and his is pretty much way bigger than mine. oy. so we got out of there at 10:30. gah. then we stopped at a gas station, where Chantal finally discovered that you have to pay before the gas pump will start. she stood there just clicking the thingy until brandon and i came back from getting our energy drinks, and brandon helped her. we were on our way after that. finally. we listened to Spirit on the way down, but brandon didn't like not being in charge of the stereo, so he turned on his cellphone and started playig ringers full blast...and singing with them. oy. we got to gramma's house around 11 or 11:30. then we stayed up until 12:30 talking (one of the things talked about was chantal's now famous quote, "he who stands on toilet is high on pot". it was one of the funniest things said...ever. it helped that it was really late i suppose...) and trying to figure out our plans for travel today.we never really got anything figured out, because:
1)brandon forgot his mtg clothes
2)the complications of an unmanned parental control tower (we had to call aunt sharon to clarify any plans we made, but it was midnight thirty, and she would've gotten ticked if we called her that late...or early)
3)we all wanted to go to bend, and we (or maybe it was just me)were trying to fit that into our plans.
4)we couldn't decide whether to get a nice early start, or wait until after morning meeting, because of obstacle #2
anyway, we decided that we would wake up this morning at 5, and drive 10 hours to get to gosple mtg in stayton. that plan got shot down...after we woke up this morning. this was an added annoyance for me, because it had taken me 2 hours out of the 4 that we had to get to sleep, and so veryone was telling me to just go back to sleep. not gonna happen people! so now, it is 5:56 in the morning, and i'm sitting here writing a blog about unmanned control towers, and trip plans that should've been made ages ago. grr.
so we're all gonna get up (and by we, i mean that i'm gonna wake up the other two) at around 7, and call aunt sharon to see what we should do. (i'm still rooting for bend, if anyone cares. if we went there, we would get to stay at shawna's appartment for a while and take a break from driving, then go to meeting before we drove two more hours. that way, we don't have to sit for 10 hours, then go to meeting, and then drive the rest of the way to the barton's place...
...stupid unmanned parental control towers.

another catching up day
another catching up day. i guess i can only blame myself, cause i don't post often enough. hehe. anyway, lets, see. i can't remember when the last time i posted was. so, how about i just talk about today? i like that idea.
well, acutally, i have to start with last night. i realized at seven that i had a book report due today. it was nothing new...i put things off all the time, but not to this extent. i didn't even know which book i was going to do it on. oops. so i just grabbed the most recent book i've read, and started putting together the book box that we had to make. it turned out pretty crappy, but you can't expect much more from a situation like that. i think that i got a pretty decent grade though, considering how half of the others looked.
oh ya...i don't think that i've mentioned that it was raining all day today. it was mucho coolio.so every class that i went to, i went the longest way that i could afford, just so that i could walk in the rain a little bit longer. i got a bunch of wierd looks from everyone else who was trying their best to stay dry. it amused me greatly. and speaking of warm, i got a nuhsc sweatshirt. i luv it. it's kinda waterproof, so it doesn't get wet very easily. it's great.
ummm, i think that's it, except that i'm leaving for oregon on sunday. it's gonna be tons of fun. so, i gotta go pack now.

it's been a while
since i posted a blog. kinda wierd, cause i normally post whenever something relatively interesting happens. and a lot of interesting stuff has happened. but i can't remember half of it.anyway, i'll try to remember some of it.
ummm...i stayed home from school tuesday, cause mom needed help to clean up the house before the agent tour wednesday. i had to go back for 6 and 7th periods, though, cause i couldn't make them up very easily. that was my exciting news for tuesday. fun, huh?
nothing wednesday, i don't think
thursday, after i got off the bus at 3:30, we scurried to our music lesson. we got there, and steph went up to the door, but it was locked. then i remembered that the teacher had told me that she wasn't going to be there until this week. oops. mom had run from marysville as fast as she could, for nothing. that was my exciting news for thursday.
friday, (at least i think it was friday) we got our tests back in geometry, and it turned out that the stupid freshman got one of the highest grades in the class. it rocked my sox. got a 93% and most people got...way lower. so i am no longer the stupid freshman. hence, the exciting news for friday.
saturday, i babysat for the muirs. it was supposed to be from 5:30 ro 11. more like until midnight. so i got to sit for hours with nothing to do except study. speaking of which, i think i aced my bio test today. so i got home and went right to bed.
sunday, i woke up round about 8:30, and played the piano for a while. about 9, we heard a chopper outside, and it was flying really low, so we all went outside, and saw this thing flying in circles around our house. it turned out that the crazy guy down the road had burned down one of his buildings, and he didn't have a phone, so he had to walk to his neighbors' to borrow theirs. if it had happened a week earlier, b4 the rain, it would've spread to the mansaneda, and right on down to our house. not good.
anyway, i think that that is all of the exciting news for the week. even if it isn't, i don't feel like writing anymore.

the insanities of an all girls class
Baggot discovered the insanities of teaching a girls choir today. one of the sopranos, who is kinda the class clown you could say, (but not really. she's just really funny)was complaining about being cold, cause it WAS cold. seriously cold. anyway, so she pulled out another pair of pants, and put them on after much struggling. baggot was still in the room off of the choir room, since class hadn't really started yet, so he didn't see any of this. but he came back soon enough, and we started on the warm-ups. about halfway through the "I love pizza, icantbelievehowmanythatiate"'s she decided that she was really hot, so she unzipped the top ones, and started taking them off. of course, all of the sopranos noticed, and then the altos, and then linda, and finally baggot, but i think that he only got tipped off because none of us were really singing anymore, because we were laughing so hard. so he just stopped the warmups for a little bit to look at her. she just kinda smiled, and said, "i got hot!" so baggot said, "i think it's time that you invested in a pair of long underwear". so, she said, "i'm wearing tights, though!" so she pulled up her shirt so that we could see the waistband of them, which was pulled halfway up her stomach. that was when baggot decided that he had discovered the insanities of teaching an all girls choir. hehe
bio i got "stuck" with two really cute guys in my lab group. of course, it seems that the cutest guys are also the dumbest. gah.
